Hey Ladies!
I am so so so excited to be part of a wonderful group of women called the Simply Stars! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who just absolutely love to share what we love and we LOVE stamping :o)

Today I wanted to share with you a super sweet card I made:
I just love the stamp set Greeting Card Kids and Lovely as a Tree - don't you think they work perfectly together to create such a cute card!

All I did to create this card was stamp the tree from Lovely as a Tree in Whisper White Craft Ink on Night of Navy Cardstock to create the backgound. The hills are created by just ripping Whisper White Cardstock and highlighting the edges with Dazzling Diamonds. The little lady is from Greeting Card Kids and coloured in with So Saffron, Sahara Sand, Real Red, and Old Olive.

That's about it! If you like what you saw here today please check out my Facebook Page for regular posts and updates at http://www.facebook.com/StampStampStampin

I hope you like it and I really hope you check out all of the other wonderful ladies on the hop!

with Love

Hello!

I hope your week has gotten off to a great start! Just think there are only 2 more work days after today and then we're into a long weekend for CANADA DAY!! (and for those of you American readers out there you get your holiday next week!)

Today I just wanted to quickly share a card that I received and I just think it's absolutely beautiful!

The card is made using the With Love Hostess Level 2 stampset from the Summer Mini Catalogue. The detail put into the card by doing the tips in Elegant Eggplant just makes to whole flower pop and I just love it!

:o) I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do

Have a great day and Happy Stampin!

Card Kit

Hello!

As promised today I want to share with you how I packaged the cards we made in the Notably Ornate Class a few weeks ago into a little gift package.

All I did was use a clear box that measured just a little larger than 4-1/4" X 5-1/2" to fit both the cards as well as envelopes for them.

We used the crochet ribbon on all of the cards so to tie that into the packaging I also tied a bow around the clear box... and that's it!

I know it's super simple but it really shows off the cards while still making it look like a well put together kit of cards that anyone would love to receive as a gift!

Hope you enjoy - take care and happy stamping!

just because...

A little while ago we had the Notable Ornate Class... which I have to say I really really enjoyed!

It was a class where we did lots of fun elements including heat embossing which brought an element of elegance to the cards which I absolutely love!

This is just one of the cards we made... tomorrow I'll share with you how I put mine together and gifted them to a friend as a set.

I hope you like it! Take care and happy stamping!

A little sneak peek

Today I want to share with you a quick and simple card that shows off some of the super exciting new products found in the brand spankin new catalogue starting July 1st!!!!

You'll notice the brand new InColour - Wisteria Wonder - a really cute purple colour!

The DSP is called Flirtatious Specialty and comes with some GREAT prints!

The new punch is called Lace Ribbon Boarder and in this card you only see half on top and half on bottom - but it can be used as one solid strip and is super super super beautiful!

Oh - and in case you're wondering - the sentiment is out of the Summer Mini Catalogue - it is a hostess level 1 set!!

I hope you like it!

Enjoy the rest of your evening - take care!

Happy stamping!

Baby Shower Fun :)

Happy Monday!

Today I want to share with you a little something different than I usually do. Instead of cards I've got some random paper projects to share with you that I created for my sister's baby shower this past Saturday!!

The First photo is of the banner we made which is supposed to look like a little clothes line with baby outfits hanging along it! To make the letters I just ran Real Red, Daffodil Delight, and Garden Green cardstock through a Cricut Cutter at Two Friends Scrapbooking Store in Kitchener. You'll also notice there are adorable little clothes pins cut out with Pumpkin Pie cardstock to make it look as though they are what is holding up the letters (of course they are just adhered on with sticky strip... just a cute little detail).

The next photo is of some super fun cup cake toppers! They follow the colour theme of the day (bright colours: green, red, yellow & orange).

I used the Cricut Cutter again to cut out the little babies and the 'Q's (supposed to symbolize "baby Q" - but I'm not too sure that came through... either way they were super cute!

The last photo is of how we labled all the baking and food treats! I just used the large scallop punch with the coordinating cardstocks and punched out little lables. The words were just written in white gel pen and then there is a little piece of paper attached to the back of the label to allow it to stand up!

I hope you enjoyed seeing a little something different than usual! Let me know what you think!!

Have a great day & happy stamping as always!!!
